LIC endowment policy is a new policy provided by LIC. This policy combines the benefits of life insurance with savings. This policy also provides death and maturity benefits. Many of the policies under Endowment also features surrender values which are actually a specific percentage of premiums paid and those paid up premium values. Death benefits are the sum under the policy which may start from ₹ 50000 and may be up to any sum of the amount which is approved by the insurance benefactors. The policies may be further improved by using different provisions which will provide added benefits in case of the death or accidental disability of the policyholder. The policies under endowment plan come in either monthly payable premium facility or annual payable premium facility. Customers may be provided with discounts during the payment of the premium.
